In the peaceful stillness, as the sun begins to rise over the horizon, people from all over Jerusalem gather at the Kotel (the Western Wall) for the neitz (sunrise) prayers. Overhead for the next few hours, mysteriously as if on cue, during this auspicious time, hundreds of birds convene circling overhead, creating a protective shield, taking our prayers with them, higher and higher.
From the series entitled, Continuum, a series focusing on moments of our spiritual journey. Here we experience their inner joy, as they spread the light of the moment.
